You have your bottles, and your medium ready to go. Now what? Well, Fineline™ Applicators comes with either the oval or tube bottle but it doesn’t matter which one you use, that depends on personal preference. The oval bottle is the original design and has been the most popular. However, since the tube bottles have been available, they have been extremely popular as many find them easier to squeeze. Either, way they have the same size opening for you to pour your medium in.

To fill your Fineline™ Applicator bottle, all you need to do is take off the entire cap and pour your medium into the bottle. Depending on what your medium is, and how steady your hands are, you may want to use a funnel to reduce spillage. Some of the mediums that you may use include: acrylic paint, glass paint, glue, henna, inks, dyes, and many more! And provided that whatever medium you use is water soluble, you can simply rinse it out with warm soapy water and use it with a different medium.

The oval bottle holds slightly more volume at 37ml, while the tube holds 30ml. The applicator tips are interchangeable so you can mix and match between the bottles. No matter which bottle you decide to go with, both ergonomic but many artists prefer the tube bottle because its slightly easier to squeeze. If you fill the bottle with a thicker medium, you may want to use a larger applicator tip (18g standard tip) so it’s easier to squeeze. If you are using something that’s very runny, you may prefer the fine applicator tip (18g).
