Do you have bad eyes, or perhaps shaky hands? If so, you might have difficulty in putting the Fineline cap-wire back on. But don’t worry, we have a trick that will help you put the cap back on with ease every time! 

When putting the cap-wire back into the needle, its important to remember to make sure you have the right cap-wire for the right applicator tip. It will not be airtight if you put a fine tip 20-gauge cap-wire into the 18 gauge standard tip needle. 

Step 1. Place your fingertip behind the applicator needle. This is where the medium comes out of. This will make the process 2-dimensional. You may need to wipe off the end of the tip to ensure your hands don’t get messy.

Step 2. Line up the cap-wire needle as close as possible to the applicator tip.

Step 3. Use your finger to help guide the cap-wire back into the needle.

Voila! You should now be able to put the cap back on without any trouble. Enjoy creating!
